Job Description Job Title: Retail Innovation Strategist Location: Cupertino, CA- onsite schedule Duration: 5 month contract- 40 hours/weekly Pay Rate: $79.30-$84.30/hour Responsibilities The Strategy team for Digital Experiences and Merchandizing group in Online Retail is looking for a Retail Innovation Strategist to support work on future-state digital experiences and content- Conduct Third-Party Research β€’ Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices across both retail, customer experience, emerging tech trends, and content Synthesize Insights β€’ Analyze research findings to generate sharp, actionable insights β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional team to integrate insights into broader business strategy Design And Deliver Presentations β€’ Create compelling presentations to communicate strategies, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels including executives β€’ Use storytelling techniques to effectively convey complex information in a simple, high-impact manner. Develop Content Strategy β€’ Craft comprehensive content strategies tailored to the brand’s digital platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand objectives. β€’ Plan and create content calendars to support marketing campaigns and enhance customer engagement. Write Briefs β€’ Develop clear and concise briefs for the Marketing & Communications (Marcom) team to guide content creation. β€’ Ensure briefs align with overall content and innovation strategies, providing necessary context and objectives. Stay Current With Online Trends And Gen Z Insights β€’ Continuously monitor and analyze online trends, social media movements, and digital behaviors to inform strategy. β€’ Understand and anticipate the preferences and behaviors of Gen Z and other key demographics to tailor content and experiences effectively. Qualifications β€’ 5+ Years Experience in Retail or Technology Sector: Background in retail strategy, digital customer experience, Innovation, or content strategy β€’ Digitally Savvy: Spend significant time online, actively observing and/or engaging with digital communities e.g. TikTok, IG, YouTube. Stay informed about cultural shifts and trends in eCommerce and social commerce. β€’ Communications: Storytelling skills and experience presenting to an executive audience β€’ Analysis: Demonstrated ability to mine insights from data and to simplify complex ideas or data inputs β€’ Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and implement effective content and innovation strategies aligned with business goals. β€’ Research and Analysis: Expertise in synthesizing complex data into meaningful insights. β€’ Presentation Design: Skilled in creating visually appealing and impactful Keynote presentations
