Ferndale Market is looking for a collaborative, strong communicator, with good customer service instincts to join our team as Retail & Marketing Coordinator. The role will support work across our on-farm market, ecommerce, and marketing, with dedicated responsibilities in all areas, and will report to our Retail Manager. Chosen candidate will have a passion for local foods and be able to balance a diverse workload and collaborate across teams. Experience in retail, customer service and marketing/communications is preferred, but a willingness to learn and be a team player is key.Ferndale Market is a growing and dynamic business and we are excited to find the right person to grow with us. Specific responsibilities of the Retail & Marketing Coordinator include: • Retail product ordering & inventory management • Drafting newsletters & other brand copy • Planning social media content • Assisting in fulfillment of ecommerce orders • Updating website (Wordpress, WooCommerce) • Managing inventory for retail supplies and marketing materials • Internal management of special orders • Event coordination • Customer service assistance answering phones/emails • On-site product sampling demos for wholesale customers This is an hourly position, 30-40 hours/week, in-office in Cannon Falls, MN, with competitive health insurance & retirement benefits. Because of the retail nature of our work, the chosen individual will be cross trained to work occasional market retail shifts as needed.
