As a Retention Marketing Manager, you will optimize, grow, and own the email marketing program. This position will focus on strategizing and executing email campaigns, as part of the overall audience-first strategic approach, and be able to identify how email can be optimized and expanded to increase conversion and revenue.

Your impact:
β’ Lead email strategist.
β’ Email marketing subject matter expert, inclusive of acquisition, retention & upgrading.
β’ Create, manage, and own email marketing campaigns, from campaign setup through to deployment and performance review.
β’ Work with creative, digital production and client teams to develop and deploy mobile-optimized emails, including input and coordination of creative processes.
β’ Work with the data and analytics team to monitor lists and suppressions to ensure accuracy and an appropriate level of audience engagement.
β’ Develop email marketing strategies, tactics, and audience segmentation and customization to optimize email performance, including A/B testing and segmentation.
β’ Initiate, implement, and oversee mission-critical email marketing automations.
β’ Monitor email marketing metrics and optimize future campaigns.
β’ Serve as an email marketing expert, staying on top of the latest trends and leading brainstorming sessions.
β’ Collaborate with the digital marketing team and integrated marketing team to develop email strategies and optimizations that support an audience-first approach.
Your Profile:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in marketing or related field or equivalent work-related experience.
β’ 5+ years of work experience with digital strategy, digital marketing, and digital media. Agency experiences are desired.
β’ Experience in optimizing landing pages and ad copy/creative/targeting, including experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
β’ Previous responsibility successfully managing budgets, performance, and ROI for performance marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media, programmatic advertising, mobile marketing platforms, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
β’ Strong grasp of current marketing tools, trends, and best practices, and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution
β’ Demonstrable experience leading and managing social, email, and digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, Google Ads, and programmatic advertising
β’ Strong interest in running campaigns for clients in the area of nonprofit; experience in the nonprofit health space is a plus
β’ Highly creative with expertise in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
β’ Solid knowledge of analytic tools and serving tools necessary for campaign set-up and reporting
β’ Excellent written and verbal communications, including the ability to write in a compelling and authoritative style.
β’ Must possess strong formal and informal leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage conflict and problem solve in a highly collaborative environment
