What you’ll do • Own the customer lifecycle by designing, A/B testing, and optimizing automated Email & SMS journeys (welcome, post-purchase, win-back, replenishment, etc.) + Campaigns. • Architect a loyalty/retention program that boosts repeat rate + LTV. • Drive strategy & execution by translating company-level KPIs into channel-level roadmaps—and hit them. • Build segmentation frameworks that pair customer behavior with merchandising & LTV priorities. • Define success metrics, set up dashboards, and present insights to leadership. • Run rapid-fire experiments: new perks, offer structures, content angles, send-time optimization, etc. • Partner with Creative for on-brand assets and with Business Development to spotlight the right products. • Sync with CX to ensure messaging and perks delight—not confuse—customers. What Makes You a Strong Fit • 3–6 years in lifecycle/retention marketing • At least 2+ years hands-on ownership of Email & SMS programs that moved the needle • Preference to have been a part of building this out from an early stage. • Demonstrated wins in increasing repeat purchase rate & LTV—be ready to walk us through the numbers. • End-to-end loyalty expertise: You’ve designed, relaunched, or migrated a loyalty program—points-based, tiered VIP, subscription perks, or paid-membership—seeing it through strategy, tech selection, launch, and ongoing optimization. • Comfortable working with finance setting up benefit economics and proving lift in repeat-purchase rate, AOV, LTV, etc. • Fluent in leading ESP/CRM platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, etc.) and loyalty software (Smile.io, etc.). • Direct mail experience: you’ve managed direct mail flows or campaigns before (nice to have) • Experience translating brand voice into concise, conversion-friendly copy. • Confident ability to pull your own raw tables, feed them into AI for quick exploration or deep dives, and emerge with clear, actionable insights. • AI-confident operator: You create powerful prompts in ChatGPT, Claude, or your tool of choice to leverage and maximize your day to day—drafting copy, QA-ing flows, summarizing tests, and brainstorming segments at lightning speed. • Entrepreneurial mindset: given a goal, you chart the path, execute, and iterate without constant check-ins. • Growth-positive attitude toward failure: you document, share, and refine.
