Role description
Location: Sheffield, UK (hybrid)
Type: Part time
Pay: £12.5/hour + Commission of 5-10% on each new distributor's first order
Start Date: ASAP
About Buildarmy:
We design premium, historically accurate military model kits using LEGO-compatible bricks. Our unique kits are popular with collectors, hobbyists, and model enthusiasts across the world. With increasing demand from international markets, we’re now looking for a Sales & Outreach Coordinator based in Sheffield to help us expand our global distribution network.
Your role:
• Distributor outreach: Identifying, contacting, and helping onboard B2B partners
• Ecommerce support: Managing product listings, links, and sales data across our B2C platforms
You’ll report directly to the founder and help turn leads into orders, both online and offline. This is a flexible role with the chance to shape your responsibilities as the business grows.
Responsibilities:
• Research, identify and contact new potential distributors and retail partners globally.
• Track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyse sales data.
• Maintain regular communication: monthly check-ins with all active distributors; gather market feedback (sales trends, product demand, competitor activity).
• Support distributor marketing. Coordinate joint promotions or product launch campaigns.
• Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and network with potential clients.
• Competitor analysis: monitor competitor pricing, products, and distributor networks. Identify gaps where Buildarmy could position itself strongly.
• New market exploration: research potential new segments (museum gift shops, military re-enactment groups, educational supply companies).
What We're Looking For:
• Experience in in business development or sales roles.
• Strong negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bonus: Familiarity with LEGO, military model or toy industry is a plus.
Why Buildarmy?
Buildarmy isn’t just another brick brand — we’re a growing British company with a passionate community of over 50,000 followers on Instagram, and our models are loved by enthusiasts around the world. You'll work closely with the founder and help us take the next leap — from a niche brand to a global name.
As we expand our distributor network and online presence, you’ll be joining at a pivotal time — with the opportunity to grow with us. This part-time role may evolve into a full-time position as we scale.
