Job Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced start-up where your impact will be seen immediately. As a Sales Representative, your primary focus will be onboarding new sellers (local stores, distributors, and vendors) to the GBuynow platform. You will also contribute to customer acquisition strategies, helping us reach new segments and drive buyer adoption. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, persuasive, and results-driven who thrives in building relationships and growing new markets. This role starts as a contract position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time hire based on performance. Key Responsibilities β€’ Seller Acquisition: Identify, engage, and onboard potential business partners (local retailers, wholesalers, and distributors), helping them understand how GBuynow can enhance their reach and visibility. β€’ Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with sellers to ensure retention and satisfaction. β€’ Raise Awareness: Work with sellers to highlight what they offer, creating buzz and brand recognition for GBuynow in Los Angeles. β€’ Gather Feedback: Listen to customer feedback to continuously improve their experience and enhance service quality. β€’ Support Deliveries: Manage and assist with local deliveries to ensure seamless service for GBuynow customers. β€’ Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed sales targets while providing regular updates on pipeline and progress. β€’ Expand Our Presence: Grow the customer base along our target segments such as Universities, Event Planners, and Party hosts/organizers, while maintaining strong customer relationships. β€’ Manage/Recruit Members: Manage college ambassadors and help grow the GBuynow team by recruiting and mentoring new members as we expand. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, business development, or account management. β€’ Strong communication, negotiation, resilient personality, and interpersonal skills. β€’ Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment. β€’ Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on relationship-building. β€’ Based in Los Angeles and have a valid driving license along with a car. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Previous proven experience in sales, customer service, or marketing (e-commerce, retail, or marketplace platforms). β€’ Familiarity with local student organizations, the event industry, and Los Angeles communities. β€’ Familiarity with e-commerce or online marketplace platforms.
