SALES STRATEGY & ENABLEMENT MANAGER (MASCOT SHOP - SCHOOL SPIRIT WEAR) ABOUT YOU: As the Sales Strategy & Enablement Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in scaling the Mascot Shop—Jostens’ fast-growing school spirit wear business. You’ll drive B2B and B2B2C sales through independent rep engagement, channel strategy, and sales enablement initiatives. With a focus on growth, partner performance, and field success, you will develop strategic plans, optimize the sales process, and equip reps with the tools, training, and materials needed to excel. This is a high-impact, highly collaborative role at the intersection of sales, marketing, operations, and product—ideal for someone with a builder’s mindset and a strong track record of results. YOU WILL: • Drive Sales Growth. Lead Independent Sales Rep (ISR) engagement, nurture key relationships to ensure optimal focus, prioritization, and effectiveness, manage performance against KPIs, and identify new revenue opportunities. • Develop Sales Strategy. Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for B2B channels—schools, teams/activities, and other bulk buyers. • Implement Competitive Sales Tactics. Analyze the competitive landscape and apply differentiated selling strategies to win new partnerships and protect market share. Leverage and optimize all sales channels to achieve aggressive school growth targets. • Enable Sales Success. Build tools, training, talk tracks, and resources that support field reps to achieve financial sales targets for revenue and profitability. • Lead Partner Acquisition. Identify and pursue new school partners through outreach, referrals, and events such as trade shows and conferences. • Optimize Sales Infrastructure. Support, implement, and evaluate the sales function, including team performance, organizational capabilities, channel capacity, sales planning and forecasting, sales compensation, and enablement strategies. • Optimize Sales Channels. Leverage B2B and B2B2C models to accelerate growth and expand partner engagement. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally. Partner with marketing, merchandising, UX, operations, and customer care to ensure outstanding end-to-end execution. • Utilize Data & Insights. Analyze sales and customer data, generate reports, summarize findings for sales management, and recommend strategies and tactics to senior leadership. • Manage Sales Operations. Oversee sales compensation, performance forecasting, and the overall effectiveness of enablement programs. • Support Financial Planning. Align sales support dollars and operational resources with business goals and budget expectations. • Typical/expected % of overnight travel: average 60% travel required. YOU HAVE: • Education. Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, supply chain, or a related field—or equivalent experience. • B2B Sales & Channel Experience. 5+ years of experience in B2B, B2B2C, or channel sales, ideally in e-commerce, apparel, or consumer goods. Preferred. Education Market Knowledge. Experience working with school systems, youth sports, or the broader educational landscape. Background in selling in e-commerce partner portals or SaaS platforms • Program Growth Track Record. Demonstrated success in growing accounts and building scalable sales programs. Familiarity with both traditional and digital tactics for school and family marketing. • Sales Enablement Expertise. Experience partnering with sales teams to drive new product sales – ability to take hands on approach where needed. Experience building tools, training, and collateral to support field success and revenue growth. Preferred. Experience in a consultative, program-oriented sales environment as a sales representative (experience in sales support such as marketing, consulting, or appropriate program-based experience may be considered as a substitute for the sales representative experience). • Data Driven. Demonstrated experience using data analysis to generate sales growth for new product lines. Ability to make appropriate, informed decisions based on data-driven insights. Ability to anticipate, comprehend and deal with the implications of courses of action. • Strategic Thinking & Execution. Strong ability to analyze data, recommend actions, and execute plans that deliver results. • Cross-Functional Influence. Proven collaborator and relationship builder across core functions of sales, marketing, merchandising, digital product, and operations. • Decision-Making Acumen. Ability to make fast, informed, data-driven decisions; anticipate and evaluate the implications of various courses of action; and provide a credible vision and strategy that instills confidence in senior leadership and stakeholders. • Execution & Initiative. Highly organized and self-directed with strong time management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver timely results in a fast-paced, intrapreneurial environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity. • Entrepreneurial Drive. Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to craft and deliver presentations. • Technical Proficiency.
