Role Title: Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Duration: 6 months (with potential for full-time hire)
Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect to lead the next phase of a large-scale Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) transformation. After a successful first-phase deployment, the organization is expanding its Salesforce ecosystem, including upcoming brand migrations and service innovations. This role will play a critical part in defining and executing the architectural strategy to ensure scalable, secure, and customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead technical architecture and solution design for Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations.
β’ Oversee integrations across Salesforce D2C Commerce Cloud, Order Management (OMS), Field Service Lightning (FSL), and mobile delivery applications.
β’ Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CRM, DevOps, and customer experience) to drive end-to-end solutions.
β’ Provide architectural guidance on Experience Cloud, UI/UX design, and SEO optimization.
β’ Support the full D2C customer journeyβfrom online purchase to order fulfillment and field service delivery.
Required Experience
β’ Proven expertise as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect or similar leadership role.
β’ Strong knowledge of Salesforce integrations with OMS, FSL, and related platforms.
β’ Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
β’ Ability to bridge technical strategy with business goals, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Nice to Have
β’ Experience implementing SEO strategies in Salesforce environments.
β’ Background in CRM and DevOps best practices.
β’ Prior consulting experience with firms specializing in Salesforce transformations.
