SFCC Technical Lead – Contract Opportunity | Hybrid (Leeds, UK) Our client, a large global consultancy, is hiring for two experienced SFCC Technical Leads to join a leading Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) transformation programme in the retail sector. This 6-month contract role is based in Leeds and requires 3 days per week onsite (hybrid model). Contract Details: • Location: Leeds, UK (3 days/week onsite) • Contract Length: 6 months • Start Date: ASAP • Day Rate: TBC - likely in the region of £500 - £600 per day inside IR35 Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development & implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions with a focus on Progressive Web Apps (PWA). • Oversee a development team, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant eCommerce experiences. • Perform technical analysis, debugging, and performance tuning. • Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing across the team. • Manage impact assessments and delivery of high-priority enhancements. • Stay up to date with PWA/MRT and Salesforce B2C advancements. Core Skills & Experience: • 1–2 full lifecycle eCommerce transformation projects in retail. • Experience with: • React.js (Next.js), Node.js (Express.js), Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFRA, SCAPI, SLAS), Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, Media Query • Familiar with Redux or other state management frameworks. • Experience building and deploying via serverless frameworks. • Strong grasp of performance, security, and code quality standards. • RESTful API integrations and payment gateway knowledge. • Awareness of Composable / PWA (Progressive Web Application) architecture.
