Your Role At Batesville
As an SAP Commerce Architect, you will be responsible for leading design, implementation and support of the SAP Commerce/Hybris platform. The role will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance eCommerce solutions that meet enterprise standards and business goals. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across UX, UI, engineering and integration, marketing and operations teams.

• The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

What You’ll Do
• Lead the architecture and solution design of enterprise B2B eCommerce platforms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical direction across major projects.
• Mentor and coach SAP Commerce/Hybris development teams.
• Ensure architectural cohesion across enterprise systems and programs.
• Support performance tuning, optimization, and complex issue resolution.
• Stay current with SAP Commerce/Hybris trends, enhancements, and best practices.
• Drive quality delivery of digital artifacts aligned with the company’s eCommerce roadmap
• Other duties may be assigned
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or foreign equivalent from a college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 12 years’ overall Information Technology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP Hybris architecture, experience configuring and developing SAP Commerce/Hybris applications.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Java programming, IMPEX, and Flexible Search.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with supporting SAP CDC, configuring HAC, BackOffice/HMC, and working with Cockpits.
• Minimum of 1 year experience communicating technical and business issues to senior leadership.

• Demonstrated experience implementing at least one enterprise B2B eCommerce solution in North America
• Conduct competitive analysis of complex products, frameworks, and technologies
• Act as a technology SME in business discussions, articulating the value of proposed solutions
• Customize Hybris-based applications including WCMS, Solr, HMC, CMS & Product Cockpit, Admin Console, CronJobs, and ImpEx
• Design and implement product modeling, catalog structures, and workflows
• Integrate SAP Commerce with backend SAP systems, Data Hub, and CPQ (preferred)
• Develop and consume scalable REST web services
• Utilize web technologies including Java, J2EE, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, and CMS platforms
