SEO / AIO Executive – Hybrid (Cheltenham-based) Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid – Minimum 1–2 days per week in office) Salary: £30,000 + benefits Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on SEO / AIO Executive to join a fast-growing, performance-driven search agency. This role blends traditional SEO with emerging AI-optimised strategies to deliver measurable results for a portfolio of ambitious brands. You’ll work on everything from technical site audits to AI search optimisation, manage client relationships, and collaborate closely with internal teams to drive visibility across Google and new AI-driven discovery tools. What You’ll Do • Build and deliver tailored SEO and AI search strategies for multiple clients • Conduct technical audits and implement on-page SEO improvements • Lead keyword research balancing traffic potential and commercial intent • Direct link-building activities with clear briefs and quality standards • Run client calls, present performance reports, and recommend next steps • Stay ahead of AI search trends (SGE, ChatGPT, Gemini) and adapt strategies accordingly What We’re Looking For • Strong technical and on-page SEO skills • Confident using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush • Able to interpret data and turn it into actionable insights • Highly organised with the ability to manage 3–6 clients simultaneously • Comfortable presenting to clients and answering SEO/AIO-related questions Bonus Points For • Content briefing or writing experience • Understanding of digital PR or link acquisition • Multi-location or eCommerce SEO experience What’s on Offer • £30,000 salary (flexible depending on experience) • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) • Birthday off + Christmas to New Year break • 4 wellbeing days per year • Life insurance, regular socials, and flexible working hours Important: This is a hybrid role.
