Job Details
Key Responsibilities
β’ Build, test, and manage complex data pipelines, models, and visualizations that support both internal operations and external client tools.
β’ Lead projects with minimal supervision, applying strong organizational and project management skills.
β’ Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
β’ Contribute to and help enforce data governance policies, best practices, and standards.
β’ Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and professional development.
β’ Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement process improvements.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in specialized analytics functions and support documentation/training initiatives.
β’ Stay current on industry tools, technologies, and practices to continuously enhance technical expertise.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
β’ 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, engineering, or related roles (with at least 2 years of highly relevant experience).
β’ Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar languages).
β’ Strong experience with dbt, modern cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and data modeling/warehousing concepts.
β’ Familiarity with Git or other version control systems, as well as Agile methodologies.
β’ Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
β’ Proven leadership in managing projects and mentoring team members.
β’ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
