Role description
A high-growth premium CPG brand is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead strategic and tactical marketing efforts across digital, retail, and omnichannel initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this position plays a critical role in brand building, consumer communications, innovation launches, and cross-functional collaboration. You will also oversee agency partnerships, eCommerce marketing efforts, and international distributor alignment. Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy & Innovation β€’ Lead development and execution of brand strategy grounded in consumer, category, and market trends β€’ Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making β€’ Own the innovation pipeline: from identifying market gaps to launch plans and performance tracking Marketing Campaigns & Content β€’ Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, retail, and eCommerce β€’ Brief and manage agencies to develop national and customer-specific communication plans β€’ Oversee content creation and social media strategy Analytics & Reporting β€’ Analyze campaign performance using syndicated and consumer data (e.g., Nielsen) β€’ Prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews and ad hoc reports to optimize results β€’ Track brand performance and voice-of-customer insights Collaboration & Leadership β€’ Partner cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance, and global teams β€’ Manage relationships with external agencies (creative, media, PR, Amazon, social) β€’ Mentor junior talent and support future team growth Budget Management β€’ Support marketing budget planning and ensure spend optimization and ROI Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus) β€’ 5+ years of brand marketing experience within the CPG space β€’ Strong understanding of consumer behavior, brand identity, and performance marketing β€’ Experience managing agencies and cross-functional partners β€’ Data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics tools and syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen) β€’ Exceptional communication, project management, and presentation skills β€’ Passion for brand building, innovation, and consumer storytelling
