Β· Assortment Strategy β Define category vision, architecture, good-better-best mix, and innovation targets; balance private-label and national brands.
Β· Financial Ownership β Partner with Planning on sales, margin, and inventory targets; analyze KPIs and adjust pricing, promotion, and flow to achieve goals.
Β· Vendor Management & Negotiation β Source, onboard, and nurture vendor relationships; secure optimal cost, terms, exclusivity, or first-to-market opportunities.
