The Senior China Ecommerce Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, growth driven China Ecom expert to join our fast paced, energetic business, to help us continue with our development and growth plans in China, and with our mission to accelerate sustainable change across the jewellery industry. You will oversee China marketing and Ecommerce strategy, including managing two direct reports and a set of external agencies (PR, Social, Ecommerce ,etc). You will utilise your experience and insights to define digital & eCommerce strategy that supports Monica Vinader China business growth. What you’ll do Strategic Management Of MV China Business • Overseeing all China online strategy, execution, P&L and key relationships internally and externally. • Plan and execute a comprehensive digital marketing & eCommerce strategy aligned with commercial goals. • Oversee the China Ecommerce and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI to drive eCommerce conversions and revenue. China Online Ecommerce/Marketing • Develop, manage, and implement the E-commerce marketing roadmap and strategy across different online platforms in China (e.g. Tmall, JD, RED, etc) in alignment with commercial objectives. • Oversees Trading Calendar and support on tactical opportunities to ensure sales targets are met. Monica Vinader Ltd, Holkham Studios, Longlands, Holkham Park, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, NR23 1SH www.monicavinader.com Page 1 of 3 • Oversees day to day Ecommerce operation, this includes TP management, paid media, regular sales review, promotion planning, store live streaming, CRM,etc. • Maximise ecom performance through effective trading initiatives & day to day management. • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify new opportunities and maximum the market performance. • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies to plan and execute key campaigns (e.g. Lunar New Year, Singles Day) and key NPD launches in China. • Optimize the existing CRM/Loyalty systems to drive effective customer retention. • Lead quarterly NPD buys and new product launches. Oversee monthly forecasts & fulfilment for stock replenishment. Ensure inventory level is aligned with product performance and commercial targets. What you’ll bring • Native speakers of Chinese and fluent in English (written and spoken). • Proven experience in China Ecommerce & marketing management, preferably within the fashion or retail industry. • Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of China digital marketing strategies and tactics (PR, influencer, social, content ,etc). • Analytical mindset, knowledgeable on key e-commerce sales metrics to drive conversion & revenue. Skilled at using analytics to drive decision-making. • Expertise in driving consumer retention and cross-channel analytics and measurement • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. • The ability to work both operationally and strategically with a clear focus on the brand and results. • Team player with a collaborative attitude, and strong willingness to learn. • A passion for getting things done, always willing to offer support and help to others. • Adept at managing multiple priorities and with meticulous attention to detail. • A genuine interest in jewellery and fashion.
