Role description
We’re seeking a versatile and strategic creative leader to join our eCommerce division, which develops and operates brand stores for different licensed IP. From concept sketches and character art to product development and launch, you’ll play a critical role in bringing apparel & accessories to life for passionate fan communities. Responsibilities: β€’ Own end-to-end product design and development for apparel & accessories β€’ Lead seasonal line planning and merchandising strategy using trend and consumer insights β€’ Illustrate original character and pop culture-inspired artwork for screenprints, packaging, and more β€’ Create mood boards, concept sketches, and renderings to communicate design direction β€’ Collaborate directly with brands to ideate new concepts β€’ Collaborate with marketing, eComm, and licensing teams to align creative execution with brand vision β€’ Analyze market trends to develop innovative designs with high sell-through potential β€’ Oversee product lifecycle management and cross-functional communication with factory partners Requirements: β€’ 5+ years in product design and development across hard and soft goods β€’ Strong illustration and visual storytelling skills (Procreate, Illustrator, Sketchbook Pro, etc.) β€’ Experience working with licensed products, consumer trends, and IP-driven merchandise β€’ Track record of creating mood boards, pitch decks, and visual brand stories β€’ Familiarity with tech pack creation, factory communication, and product approvals β€’ Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally in a team setting β€’ Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and product design software like Sketchup or Solidworks Bonus Points: β€’ Experience in fan-centric or collectible products (e.g., plush, cosplay, home goods) β€’ Experience presenting products through fan streams or direct-to-consumer launches Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000
