The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for executing, optimizing and managing key components of the overall digital marketing strategy for Avondale Group. This position will oversee multiple digital marketing channels including Avondale and manufacturer websites, social media (if assigned), email campaigns, SEM/SEO and third-party lead providers, working closely with senior leadership to drive measurable results.
Responsibilities
Campaign Execution and Optimization
β’ Execute digital marketing initiatives that consistently deliver measurable impact and ROI
β’ Develop and manage specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
β’ Stay current with digital technology developments and evaluate potential new providers and platforms
Brand Management and Content
β’ Manage assigned digital marketing channels and activities, ensuring consistent alignment with overall marketing strategy and brand initiatives
β’ Optimize online content for SEO rankings, visibility and lead conversion
β’ Execute social media strategy across Avondale platforms, including content calendar management, content creation and social media advertising (if assigned)
β’ Implement website content strategies, dealership news and events articles, new vehicle model guides, topical landing pages, and brand/make/model-specific SEO initiatives
β’ Monitor and optimize new car and pre-owned vehicle merchandising (photos and vehicle descriptions) to ensure inventory display consistency and maximum lead generation across all dealerships
β’ Maintain and update database of email templates used in Internet Sales Process in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Corporate Sales Trainer
Lead Generation and Website Performance
β’ Execute SEO initiatives and manage relationships with SEO agency partners, tracking results on a monthly basis
β’ Manage SEM campaigns and collaborate with SEM agency to optimize ad copy and creative for maximum KPI performance, including cost per click, impression share, and conversion metrics
β’ Monitor lead provider performance and recommend optimizations to provider mix and performance
β’ Work with IT and Marketing teams to ensure proper integration of paid lead providers and Avondale/manufacturer websites through CRM system
Analytics and Reporting
β’ Monitor and analyze Google Analytics and vendor-provided data to ensure websites meet sales conversion and engagement targets
β’ Prepare monthly and quarterly lead/sales reports and relevant e-commerce analytics for the Marketing Team, General Managers and Leadership Team
β’ Track contracts, billing and expenses for 3rd party lead providers and digital advertising channels
β’ Support management of digital and online marketing budget including ad spend, content development, social media, email marketing and operational systems
β’ Conduct competitive analysis to maintain Avondale's strong digital market position
Collaboration and Development
β’ Mentor and support junior team members to achieve optimal results
β’ Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to strengthen brand reputation and presence
β’ Collaborate with department members on professional development initiatives and skill building
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelorβs degree (B. A.) in related field from four-year College or university; Minimum 7 - 10 yearsβ related experience and/or training in e-commerce, digital marketing and user experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Including Driver's License)
Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable)
