Position Summary
Weβre seeking a customer-obsessed, strategically minded Senior eCommerce Marketing Manager to lead our digital growth initiatives across DTC platforms. This role owns the full eCommerce ecosystemβplatform optimization, digital merchandising, customer journey improvement, lifecycle marketing, and competitive experience benchmarking.
You will work cross-functionally with product, creative, technology, analytics, and operations teams to enhance the eCommerce experience, drive conversion and retention, and ensure we remain competitive with best-in-class digital experiences. The ideal candidate has deep experience in eCommerce platform management, customer lifecycle strategy, digital user experience, and data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce Strategy & Optimization
β’ Own the eCommerce platform roadmap (e.g., Shopify or Adobe Commerce), aligning to growth, brand, and customer experience goals
β’ Lead site optimization across UX, mobile, merchandising, product discovery, and checkout flow
β’ Drive conversion rate improvement through testing, analytics, and personalization tools
β’ Partner with product and IT teams to plan and implement platform enhancements
β’ Benchmark and implement best-in-class practices to compete with market-leading eCommerce experiences
β’ Collaborate across the team to align, content, creative, and messaging strategies with acquisition and conversion goals
Market Intelligence & Competitive Research
β’ Continuously assess eCommerce trends, UX innovations, and competitive positioning to inform strategy
β’ Identify experience gaps and conversion barriers compared to top DTC and retail brands
β’ Translate insights into actionable enhancements to improve customer experience and retention metrics
Lead Generation & Demand Capture
β’ Execute multi-channel lead capture strategies across landing pages, search, social, and email
β’ Build and optimize lead funnels in coordination with paid media and lifecycle programs
β’ Develop nurturing flows that move prospects through discovery, consideration, and purchase
Customer Experience, Retention & Loyalty
β’ Map and optimize the end-to-end digital customer journey, reducing friction and improving engagement
β’ Design and implement lifecycle marketing strategies to increase repeat purchases, loyalty, and customer lifetime value (CLV)
β’ Leverage segmentation, personalization, and behavioral data to tailor messaging across email, SMS, and site touchpoints
β’ Collaborate with customer service and operations to close experience gaps and improve satisfaction post-purchase
Technology, Tools & Vendor Management
β’ Manage eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce, etc.) and the full Martech stack
β’ Lead third-party agencies and internal collaborators to ensure aligned execution, SLAs, and performance outcomes
β’ Evaluate, integrate, and manage tools for lead capture, personalization, analytics, and automation
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
β’ Track and analyze performance across KPIs: CLV, AOV, conversion rate, bounce rate, abandon rate, email/SMS engagement, and traffic sources
β’ Use GA4, Hotjar, and attribution tools to assess cross-channel effectiveness, drive actionable insights and ongoing testing, and inform spend optimization
β’ Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
β’ Champion a test-and-learn culture across campaigns and digital initiatives
Project Planning & Execution
β’ Lead cross-functional execution of digital projects, campaigns, and platform enhancements
β’ Manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across marketing, product, IT, and external vendors
β’ Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-impact initiatives tied to eCommerce and revenue goals

Qualifications
What You Bring
β’ 7+ years in eCommerce, digital marketing, or performance media (DTC, retail, or CPG preferred)
β’ Proven success in scaling acquisition and lead generation strategies across paid and owned channels
β’ Hands-on experience with Shopify or Adobe Commerce, GA4, Klaviyo or Attentive, and major ad platforms
β’ Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of CAC, ROAS, CLV, AOV, and attribution models
β’ Experience managing cross-functional initiatives, agencies, and multiple concurrent projects
β’ Excellent communication, organization, and execution skills in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
