Role description
A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Tiso Ecommerce & Digital team as our new Email & CRM Marketing Specialist! We're looking for a data-driven and creative individual to own our email channel, drive engagement, and elevate our customer journeys. If you're passionate about leveraging insights to connect with customers and boost commercial results, we want to hear from you. Job Role & Duties • Build & schedule all business-as-usual promotional emails • Work closely with Group Buying & Merchandising Director, Performance Marketing Manager and Digital Trading Manager to plan email content and take responsibility and ownership of email calendar • Manage critical path of email campaign creation, co-ordinating with different stakeholders • Work closely with Digital Designer on the look and content of the emails • Write copy for emails in the brand tone of voice • Be the owner of best practice throughout the channel • Keep and maintain a testing calendar, constantly iterating email elements in order to establish an environment of learning and improvement around our content • Be the driving force behind customer segmentation ensuring that the right email message is being put in front of the right customer • Understand how customer behaviour changes across different segments and ensure that messaging is carefully crafted to offer the best possible value to our customers and, in turn, drive commercial results • Own the channel data, monitoring at all times and ensuring you are able to confidently report and understand on all key metrics • Make data-led decisions • Be responsible for mapping out and maintaining the post-purchase and sign-up journeys designing the emails within them to drive engagement and commerciality • Own recurring email journeys, constantly testing, analysing performance and iterating from there to drive results • Work with the Performance Marketing Manager on strategies and tactics for growing the email channel • Keep up to date with developments and innovations within email marketing, with a positive outlook on how to implement these • Work with our brands to design and deliver innovative email campaigns Person Profile • Confident self-starter who is comfortable managing their own workflow • Highly organised with a first-rate attention to detail • Enjoys working collaboratively within a team as well as working on individual projects • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable and confident in adapting to last-minute changes and deadlines • Has a delivery mindset: when a task is set is able to understand where this sits within priorities and complete in an appropriate timeframe • Loves data: passionate about data and is excited to analyse figures, learn from them and apply these learnings • Can confidently ingest large amounts of information, interpret it and make action plans based on this • Naturally curious with a testing mindset • A love of all things outdoors is an advantage but is by no means a prerequisite!
