Senior JavaScript Engineer contract - Outside IR35 - £575 per day Leading Ecommerce client is now recruiting a talented ‘Full Stack JavaScript Developer’ who is proficient in front and back-end development. (React/Node.js), with an emphasis on backend Node work initially. This role will be joining their platform team, designing, and building the foundations of which our clients innovative web and mobile applications run on. What will a day in the role entail? • Working as an integral part of an agile team contributing towards the planning and development of systems/platforms. • Collaborating with engineers, product owners and business analysts to define solutions, ways of working and share knowledge across the department. • Reviewing code and providing support to members of your team. • Working on client-facing applications in react / next.js • Designing and building Node.js / GraphQL APIs. The ideal Senior JavaScript Engineer • Senior level experience in modern JavaScript, written with ECMAScript, Typescript, Node.js, React, Next.js etc. • Experience designing and developing APIs/microservices. • Understanding of DevOps/modern infrastructure practices (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI, etc). • AWS managed services like SNS, SQS, lambda, with an emphasis on integration work • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation. • Experience working in autonomous agile environments. • Experienced in front and back-end development (React.js/Node.js/GraphQL) This excellent opportunity allows you to become part of an innovative award-winning ecommerce organisation who are leading in the travel sector.
