Role description
FoodScience LLC in Williston, VT, is looking to hire a full-time Senior Manager, DTC & Performance Marketing. Would you like to join a company with a great culture, competitive benefits, and a supportive team? You might be the perfect fit.
FoodScience offers 9 paid holidays per year—including your birthday!—one paid week off during our yearly plant shutdown, and a competitive Paid Time Off (PTO) program that starts to accrue immediately. Our benefits include health insurance with options for a Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), life insurance, dental, vision, and a variety of other additional insurance options to fit your needs. Other perks include employee discounts and professional development. You’ll work with a supportive, experienced team that wants to see you succeed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE
Ready to accelerate our DTC growth and turn performance marketing into a revenue engine?
As Senior Manager, DTC & Performance Marketing, you will own the strategy and day-to-day execution that drives profitable customer acquisition, retention, and LTV across our branded sites. You’ll lead end-to-end multi-channel performance campaigns—paid social, paid search/Shopping, influencer and affiliate, email/SMS, and online video/display—from planning through optimization and reporting. As the strategic lead for DTC paid media, you’ll define channel mix, budget allocation, creative direction, and test-and-learn roadmaps to achieve CAC, CVR, ROAS, and LTV goals. You’ll also build and execute retention and re-engagement programs (lifecycle, win-back, replenishment, loyalty) to increase repeat rate and deepen customer value.
You will own the DTC P&L across brands—managing budgets, forecasting performance, and reallocating investment to maximize impact and profitability. You’ll coordinate experimentation, analytics, and insights across the business, designing A/B and multivariate tests (offers, audiences, creatives, landing pages) and translating results into clear actions. You’ll monitor performance dashboards, diagnose trends, drive timely tactical pivots, and deliver concise executive-level readouts against KPIs.
You’ll oversee the Performance Creative team to deliver fast, data-informed assets—ads, UGC/influencer content, landing pages, and email/SMS—that fuel growth and support broader eCommerce needs. Partnering closely with eCommerce, Brand & Innovation, and external agencies, you’ll ensure performance efforts align with positioning, promotions, and product launches. You’ll evaluate and evolve our growth tech stack (tracking, attribution, feed management, marketing automation, affiliate platforms) with a strong understanding of Shopify-centric measurement and activation, while staying current on platform updates, privacy/attribution shifts, and emerging opportunities. Finally, you’ll lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team and manage agency partners to clear goals, SLAs, and continuous improvement.
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply today! We’re excited to talk with you.
ABOUT FOODSCIENCE
Founded in 1973, FoodScience currently maintains offices in Williston, Colchester, and Waterbury, Vermont. Our team manufactures nutritional supplements for both humans and animals, and our mission is to help people and pets live healthier lives every day. We believe that a healthy work-life balance is key to your success and ours. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR MANAGER, DTC & PERFORMANCE MARKETING
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of driving DTC/eCommerce growth—preferably in CPG or a related industry—and at least 2 years leading high-performing teams. You have hands-on success across paid social and search/Shopping, email/SMS, online video/display, influencer, and affiliate channels, with demonstrated ownership of a DTC P&L and media budgets. You’re fluent in the metrics that matter—CAC, CVR, ROAS, LTV, and cohort analysis—and you use them to guide strategy, prioritize investments, and communicate impact.
You pair strong analytical rigor with practical execution: designing experiments, diagnosing funnel performance, and running audience/creative tests that translate into clear actions. You’re comfortable presenting insights to leadership, influencing decisions, and aligning cross-functional partners across Brand, Innovation, eCommerce, and Finance. Technically, you’re hands-on in the Shopify ecosystem and modern growth tooling—marketing automation, feed/ad platforms, analytics, and attribution—and you navigate ongoing privacy and measurement shifts with contemporary approaches.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Preferred experience includes lifecycle/CRM strategy (segmentation, journeys, loyalty) and CRO/landing-page optimization, as well as scaling influencer/affiliate programs and UGC pipelines. Experience in a privately held environment and relevant certifications in project or marketing management are also valued.
READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
Your time is valuable—that’s why our online application process is quick, simple, and easy to use. We look forward to speaking with you!
