Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (eCommerce Go-To-Market)
Hybrid - 3 days per week in NYC
I'm partnering with an established but innovative eCommerce company to find a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (eCommerce Go-To-Market/Merchandising). It's a global brand, and remains nimble/innovative while being a subsidiary of a large publicly traded company.
As the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (Merchandising) where you'll play a pivotal role in driving both financial and strategic goals. This is a role on a growing team with tons of exposure to the C-suite and room for impact. This is a perfect role for someone who wants to transition in-house from I-banking, Private Equity, Equity Research, or Management Consulting.
This role is particularly awesome because of the team and the person who it reports to - they have worked for huge multi billion global brands and I know them personally - they're really impressive and development of people on their team is a top priority for them. You'll have someone to learn from and who will always go to bat for you.
The role:
β’ Financial modeling & growth strategy
β’ Drive overall planning, monitoring, reporting at the intersection of Finance & Product, eCommerce, Pricing, etc.
β’ Drive Go-to-Market strategies that optimize pricing, improve margins, enhance product mix and drive portfolio evolution across e-commerce platforms
β’ Leverage data and modeling to guide strategic decisions on product selection, pricing, promotions, and inventory management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
β’ Develop dashboards, KPIs, and build presentations for stakeholders, parent company, and c-suite
β’ Analyze performance vs. plans, forecasts, market share and competitive market analysis to bring insights to the org
β’ Scenario modeling & analysis that drives pricing strategy, margin analysis, and product mix optimization
Who you are:
β’ 4 - 8 years of experience in in either I-banking, Private Equity, or Management Consulting
β’ Need to be strong in financial modeling
β’ Bonus points if you've done data visualization
β’ Bonus points if you have experience working in or on clients in eCommerce, consumer, luxury goods, retail etc.
π΅Compensation: $130k -$155k base salary + cash bonus + benefits and flexible for the perfect candidate!
π Office Schedule: It's a hybrid role, 3 days a week in Mid-town Manhattan office.
