About The Role (Hybrid) We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Paid Marketing Manager to join our high-performing PPC team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This role will take the lead on developing and delivering our Paid Search (PPC) strategy across Brand and Non-Brand campaigns for Flights, with ownership over strategy and delivery implementation across the Americas region and globally for Performance Max campaigns, both in the Flights vertical. You’ll shape how we connect millions of travellers with their next journey by owning high-impact PPC programs, setting market-level targets, forecasting performance, and driving growth in collaboration with our partners in Marketing, Product, Data Science. You will line-manage and mentor a Paid Marketing team member, providing support in their development and delivery across key workstreams. What You’ll Be Doing β€’ Strategic Leadership of Skyscanner Brand PPC: Own and evolve the global strategy and performance of Brand PPC, ensuring we protect our branded share of traffic cost-efficiently, while supporting wider marketing and brand goals. β€’ Non-Brand PPC Ownership in the Americas: Lead the strategic planning and execution of Non-Brand PPC in key markets across North and South America. Focus on meeting investment guardrails, growing our share of PPC traffic, and aligning our delivery with overall regional objectives. β€’ Flights PPC Performance Max Leadership: Be the subject matter expert and lead owner of Performance Max within Flights Non-Brand PPC, identifying opportunities to expand footprint, testing and scaling through structured experimentation. β€’ Forecasting & Target-Setting: Maintain and develop our robust forecasting models to set ROAS targets across the channel, working cross-functionally to ensure session growth while maintaining revenue targets - balancing efficiency with expansion. β€’ Collaboration & Influence: Work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Data Science, and Product to align marketing strategy with broader business objectives. Communicate performance and roadmap outcomes effectively. β€’ Innovation & Optimisation: Regularly analyse campaign performance and the competitive landscape to surface insights and make optimisations. Champion experimentation and testing frameworks to ensure we stay at the leading edge of PPC strategy. About You β€’ Proven experience in managing large-scale PPC campaigns across Brand and Non-Brand, ideally in the travel, tech or ecommerce industries. β€’ Deep knowledge of Google Ads (including Performance Max), with experience optimising for growth while managing investment trade-offs. β€’ Strong forecasting and analytical skills, with the ability to build data-led business cases and translate insights into action. β€’ Experience managing campaigns across multiple regions, with particular strength in the Americas (preferably) and knowledge of regional market dynamics. β€’ Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning with agile day-to-day decision-making. β€’ Excellent stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with Product, Finance and Analytics teams. β€’ Comfortable working with data tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau), and collaborating with technical partners on automation and reporting. β€’ A proactive, adaptable approach with a passion for performance marketing and innovation.
