Role description
About Tala
Tala was founded in 2015 by Josh, Max and William—three friends from Edinburgh University who believed great design was the fastest way to a low-carbon world.
Now headquartered in London with global distribution, our teams push the boundaries of design and technology to create exceptional, low-carbon lighting. We are proud B Corp, creating lights that are gentle on the planet, make homes look great, and make life feel brighter.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a commercially minded, data-driven Senior Paid Media Manager to own and lead our global paid advertising strategy across Meta, Google, and Pinterest. This is a high-impact, hands-on role reporting to the Head of Growth, with a focus on acquiring high-value customers and scaling paid channels profitably across both D2C and B2B (Tala Pro) segments.
You’ll work closely with the creative team, developers, and growth team to drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day management of paid campaigns across Meta, Google and Pinterest including budgets, bidding, and audience segmentation.
• Build and execute a structured creative testing roadmap (hooks, formats, offers).
• Manage briefs, feedback loops, and delivery timelines with internal and freelance creatives.
• Use GA4, Shopify and Looker Studio to monitor performance and optimise based on key metrics.
• Develop monthly and quarterly ad plans aligned with product launches, seasonal moments, and regional goals.
• Partner with the email/CRM and website teams to ensure end-to-end journey optimisation.
• Own and evolve the paid acquisition model, building dashboards and weekly insights for the wider team.
Requirements
• 5+ years at an agency with hands-on experience managing paid social and search campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Pinterest campaign structures.
• Fluent in the creative side of performance: what makes ads convert, how to brief effectively, and how to test methodically.
• Comfortable building UTM structures, segmenting audiences, and working across first-party data tools (Klaviyo, Shopify, etc.).
• Confident in reporting using Looker Studio, GA4, or similar tools — and making decisions based on data.
• Proactive, fast-moving, and comfortable working independently in a fast-growing, design-led business.
• Bonus: experience working with lifestyle, interiors, or sustainability-focused brands.
What to Expect
• Competitive base salary
• 26 days annual leave + UK public holidays
• Flexible working model (remote/hybrid)
• Career development in a fast-growing, mission-led business
• Generous staff discount (60%) + welcome gift
• Ongoing training and exposure across marketing, product, and ecommerce teams
Salary
£55,000 – £70,000 (dependent on experience)
Location
Hybrid (East London HQ or Remote UK-based with ability to attend key meetings in London)
