Role description
We're looking for a Senior Paid Social Manager to lead strategy and delivery for some of our largest and most complex ecom paid social accounts. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, driving performance, fostering strong relationships and ensuring campaigns meet and exceed KPIs. Responsibilities: End to End Campaign Management: • Own the end-to-end Paid Social strategy for larger or more complex accounts, ensuring all activity delivers against client KPIs and business goals. • Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with your clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all paid social matters. • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business objectives, brand identity, target audience, sector, and key competitors. • Be accountable for the high-quality delivery of all paid social advertising work for your clients, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices. Strategies: • Develop and implement innovative and effective paid social media strategies tailored to meet the unique goals and target audiences of each client in your portfolio. • Conduct thorough audience research, competitor analysis, and platform-specific best practice application to inform strategic decisions. • Work collaboratively with HOD to shape roadmaps, assess performance, and proactively identify growth opportunities. • Oversee delivery standards across accounts, mentoring junior team members and driving account expansion through strategic leadership. • Work closely with the PPC team to deliver integrated paid media campaigns. Ecommerce Function: • Work with HOD to drive and develop our ecommerce offering, introducing new processes, tools and features to drive client performance • Work with HOD and the Growth team to attract and acquire new ecommerce clients . Teamwork: • Collaborate effectively with other teams within the business, particularly on multi-channel client accounts, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing efforts. • Share knowledge and insights with colleagues to foster a supportive and collaborative working environment. Fresh Ideas: • Identify and champion new opportunities and emerging trends within the paid social landscape. • Explore the use of AI in Paid Social data analysis and competitor benchmarking. • Stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and best practices across all relevant platforms. Line Management: • You will be responsible for leading and developing Paid Social Execs within the team. • You will recruit and onboard new team members, provide learning and development opportunities for your team, provide feedback, conduct regular touchpoints and follow our Performance Excellence process. You will promptly address and resolve conflicts and challenges. Skills & Experience: • Technical - You should be an expert at utilising paid social media advertising platforms: Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Pinterest, and TikTok. LinkedIn ads experience is also beneficial. • Desirable Experience - Experience with large-scale ecommerce clients is essential. You should be proficient in optimising campaigns and achieving client KPIs such as ROAS, MER, COS, CPA etc. across multiple accounts. • Software & Data - You should have experience in CRM and Analytics platforms. Attribution platforms, creative optimisation and AI-led platforms is a plus. Confident in learning how to navigate with client-specific platforms, such as Shopify, Hubspot etc.. • Communication - You should be comfortable engaging with clients, reporting to them over the phone and face to face. You should come across as confident and knowledgeable in social media and the strategy you have set out for them. Your communication skills both written and verbal should be excellent. • Time Management - Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams is essential. You should be confident that your workload is manageable and that appropriate deadlines are set and met. • Mindset - You should be passionate about Paid Social, with a genuine interest in building strong relationships and delivering great work.
