About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Partner Development Manager to accelerate our growth in Northern Europe. This is a role that will be owning local agency partnerships, ensuring their continued success and growth, as well as owning some of the local relationships with regional System Integrator teams.
You’ll need to have:
• Experience working in digital retail / ecommerce environments.
• A strong understanding of Shopify’s competitive landscape in UK/I, Benelux and Nordics.
• Experience working with design, development, and digital marketing agencies.
• Proven ability to develop unique, scalable, high-impact, partnerships for shared value
• Ability to hold partners accountable against shared goals for the year
• Creating and monitoring merchant acquisition strategies that can be scaled across multiple partners and partner types
• Assess the effectiveness of your regional initiatives. Report on success metrics, insights, and recommendations
• Experience in working with partnerships, sales, marketing, operations, and finance
• Experience in working with stakeholders from different disciplines
• Experience in project management and managing multiple projects on the go
• Excellent communication and organizational skills while being able to stay focused on the big picture and pay attention to details
You’ll work on things like:
• Business Planning with Partner 20% of time
• Business planning, ensuring a multi-year commercial strategy
• Quarterly business reviews
• Sales Plays & Lead Gen ( Activating Portfolio) 35% of time
• Developing & adoption of plays to ensure high productivity/performance of partner portfolio
• Co-developing & executing lead gen activities (VIP events, Conferences, Webinars), with support from regional partner marketing
• Co-sell - 25% of time
• Co-sell - Supporting in inbound co-selling & outbound co-selling in collaboration with sales & marketing (ie Account Based Marketing, Partner Solution Selling)
• Oversight of complex deals through to launch, on behalf of partner
• Performance Management - 20% of time
• Forecasting, ways of working with other teams, portfolio & funnel analysis, facilitation of ongoing enablement
