Job Summary:
Amazon is seeking a Sr. Product Manager – Technical (PMT) to lead the pricing strategy for Prime Air. This role involves developing a scalable, real-time pricing engine and implementing innovative pricing strategies to enhance ultra-fast delivery services.
Responsibilities:
• Own the product vision and roadmap for the pricing engine for Prime Air including Shipping Thresholds, Promotional pricing.
• Define and implement innovative pricing strategies for Ultra-fast delivery speeds.
• Drive regional benchmarking, price positioning, and profit analysis
• Strong technical acumen; able to work effectively with engineers and data scientists.
• Lead global business level pricing narratives for monthly/quarterly reviews and long-term planning
• Assess new demand opportunities and develop corresponding pricing strategies
Qualifications:
Required:
• MBA
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with experimentation platforms, pricing algorithms, or real-time decision engines.
Preferred:
• Background in Computer science, Statistics, or economics is a plus.
