To accelerate our growth in the US and AU, we are searching for a Senior Product Manager focused on AI and Personalization who is passionate about building innovative, data-driven customer experiences that drive retention, loyalty, and lifetime value. This role will have a significant impact on our business by leading the strategy and execution of AI-powered personalization across our ecommerce and digital ecosystem. From guided shopping and predictive recommendations to personalized post-purchase journeys, you will develop and scale products that make every interaction feel uniquely tailored. You will partner closely with UX, Data Science, CRM, Engineering, and Creative teams to deliver customer-centric solutions that optimize conversion, AOV, and LTV. Your strategic mindset and analytical skills will help identify high-value opportunities, while your product leadership will bring them to life through Agile workflows. Your curiosity about AI and evolving digital trends will allow Paula’s Choice to stay ahead of the curve in how customers discover, engage with, and repurchase our products. As Senior Product Manager, a typical day might include a mix of the following: • Leading the product strategy for AI-driven personalization across channels (site, email, SMS, loyalty, and marketplaces) • Developing and launching guided shopping and recommendation experiences powered by machine learning • Partnering with data science to translate algorithms into customer-facing features that improve relevance and conversion • Evaluating customer journeys and identifying opportunities for automation and tailored engagement • Collaborating with CRM and Engineering to integrate personalization into marketing campaigns, post-purchase flows, and membership experiences • Creating business cases for personalization initiatives, measuring impact with KPIs (conversion, AOV, LTV, retention), and iterating to optimize results • Researching and benchmarking competitors, AI tools, and personalization technologies to ensure Paula’s Choice remains at the forefront of innovation • Breaking down business requirements into user stories, and working with engineering to deliver high-quality product experiences The Details • Location: Fully remote, US based • Hours: Typical PST business hours, some flexibility required • Physical requirements: Ability to handle both long periods of sitting and long periods of screen time • Travel requirements: Up to 10% What You’ll Bring To The Table • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years focused on AI-driven personalization, data products, or ecommerce customer experience • Proven ability to build and launch personalization features that drive measurable business impact • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Data Science, UX, CRM, and Engineering • Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar • Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, KPI tracking, and leveraging analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI, Quantum Metrics) • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills What Can Help You Really Stand Out • Experience with AI/ML personalization platforms, recommendation engines, or CDPs • SFCC, Shopify+, Klaviyo and/or SFMC experience • Knowledge of experimentation frameworks and incrementality testing • B2C ecommerce experience with a focus on customer acquisition and retention Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location: $160,000 - $170,000 USD/annually Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
