Senior Product Manager Position: Senior Product Manager Industry: Retail / Ecommerce / AI Location: Central London Salary: £90,000 Hybrid Working: 3 days a week in Central London About the Company: Our client is a pioneering organization transforming the retail technology landscape. They specialise in innovative, AI-driven solutions designed to streamline merchant operations, enhance customer interactions, and optimise commerce processes. With strategic partnerships with leading cloud platforms, they are scaling their reach into Tier 1 retailers and driving growth in the retail technology sector. Core Products & Responsibilities: Own the launch of a new headless API that powers conversational commerce for customers. You’ll define the go-to-market, shape the product roadmap and work closely with engineers to ship fast and iterate. API product experience is essential. Conversational AI is a nice bonus but a track record of execution in a start-up environment is everything. Purpose Behind the Hire: • Support the expansion into Tier 1 retailers, with a goal to sign 150 major clients • Lead the product strategy to transition into a product-led growth model, focusing on self-service capabilities and scalable solutions • Develop a product that enables intuitive self-deployment and automation Skills & Attributes: • Proven experience in delivering highly self-service and automated product solutions • Experience with research-based and intuition-driven decision-making (fail fast approach) • Ability to balance client and internal team demands effectively • Familiarity with product tools and processes, including self-deployed and automated systems Future-Ready Focus: • Open to adopting and integrating AI advancements into workflows • Prepared to "talk AI shop" as AI becomes a larger component of the product roadmap Strong Advantages: • Solid understanding of Salesforce Cloud Commerce • Experience in retail or eCommerce SaaS environments Challenges & Opportunities: Grey Skies: • Limited processes for requirement gathering • Absence of performance metrics for product success Blue Skies: • Define and drive the product management process from scratch, using innovative approaches and frameworks • Shape and lead the transition to a product-led growth strategy Please apply to this advert and Charles from Your Next Hire will drop you his availability for a deep dive on the role.
