Job Description
As a Product Manager at ECI, you'll be the driving force behind one of our key product components. Your mission? To support our customers in reaching their goals and ensuring their success. You'll lead every aspect of the software's life cycle, from discovering new solutions and enhancements to crafting go-to-market strategies and launch plans. Your vision will shape the product roadmap, inspire others, and ultimately deliver solutions that are known for their robust customer-focused user experience and innovative capabilities in the customer’s specific industry.
Responsibilities
• Conduct competitive analysis using internal, customer, and market data to identify industry trends and unmet user needs.
• Define requirements, convey release and project visions/goals, and approve developed functionality.
• Develop a cross-organizational vision, roadmap, and appropriate tracking mechanisms for each new initiative (financial planning, analysis, and forecasting).
• Author user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and activity diagrams based on customer needs.
• Prioritize and define requirements based on business value for the customer.
• Participate in an Agile development environment as a member of a Scrum/Project team.
• Prepare and present business cases to justify proposed solutions and business investments.
• Stay up to date on the latest technology and market trends, and co-author white papers, marketing materials, and industry articles that will enhance ECI's thought leadership.
• Become the subject matter expert within the organization for ERPs, eCommerce, Inventory and Logistics for small and medium size businesses.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Education requirements may be satisfied with commensurate experience.
• 8+ years of work experience, with a background in product management, preferably in the software industry.
• Driven by customer user experience, product innovation and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations with a passion for new technology.
• Highly self-directed in identifying and prioritizing deliverables to meet internal and external commitments.
• Ability to interact with and form trusting relationships with internal and external customers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention and focus on details.
• Ability to lead, negotiate, persuade, and compromise.
• Superior written communication and presentation skills required.
• Experience with SaaS and mobile applications a plus.
