Job Summary:
Microsoft is seeking a Program Manager (Contract) to join their Digital Strategy and eCommerce team. This role focuses on enhancing partnerships with global retailers and driving sales across Devices & Creativity product lines through social media and retail media networks.
Responsibilities:
β’ Drive a work stream focused on creating synergy between first-party social (e.g., @Windows) and third-party social (e.g., @Walmart).
β’ Evolve existing programs aimed at accelerating retail partner social strategies globally.
β’ Support Channel Marketing Managers for Devices & Creativity LOBs with social content best practices and channel strategy around key campaign moments.
β’ Lead the creation of social inputs for executive meetings with key retailers worldwide.
β’ Maintain the Social Commerce Playbook to inform regional teams on capabilities and focus areas across platforms.
β’ Maintain the Global Influencer Strategy Playbook in partnership with the Americas influencer lead.
β’ Partner with regional leaders in Americas, EMEA, and Asia to shape Retail Media Network strategies aligned with Microsoftβs consumer priorities.
β’ Pilot and scale Retail Media Networks innovation across key partners, ensuring impact through personalization, co-branding, and performance measurement.
β’ Facilitate global collaboration and share best practices across regions to accelerate retail marketing capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ 10-15 years of demonstrable experience in relevant fields.
β’ 5+ years of experience in partner, digital, or ecommerce marketing.
β’ Bachelorβs degree required.
β’ Extensive experience in Social strategy, Content Strategy, Influencer Strategy, and Integrated Marketing Campaigns.
β’ Strong background in partner, digital, or ecommerce marketing.
β’ Proven ability to work within large and complex organizations.
β’ Knowledge of various social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
β’ Excellent communication skills for cross-cultural collaboration.
Preferred:
β’ 3+ years of experience working in large organizations within Consumer Electronics or Social Media platform companies is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with hyper-local social platforms like Douyin, Red Book, WeChat & LINE within Asia is a plus.
