The Role
We are looking for a Senior Retoucher to join a small, dedicated team of experienced professionals committed to delivering the highest standards of retouching across e-commerce, campaign, and social content. Youβll be expected to produce photorealistic imagery, with a particular focus on accurate product colour representation for our extensive catalogue.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented retoucher with experience handling high volumes of imagery who values consistency, precision, and a thoughtful approach. Colour accuracy and brand integrity are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
General
β’ Retouch high volume e-commerce imagery to brand standards.
β’ Enhance images while preserving a natural, authentic aesthetic.
β’ Remove blemishes, smooth skin, and correct lighting and tonal balance.
β’ Perform industry-standard fashion retouching across a variety of fabrics and materials.
β’ Apply shaping and sculpting techniques with subtlety.
β’ Maintain strict layer discipline and non-destructive workflows.
β’ Remove unwanted objects or distractions.
β’ Extend or rebuild backgrounds (AI-assisted or manual).
β’ Execute accurate pathing and selections for product isolation.
β’ Manage complex layer structures with confidence in Adobe Photoshop.
Colour Discipline
β’ Apply strong colour theory knowledge to ensure consistent recolouring.
β’ Deliver exceptionally accurate colour correction across projects (Ecom, Campaign & Social).
β’ Maintain tonal and colour consistency across e-commerce, campaign, and social assets.
Assets & Content
β’ Manage and maintain content via our CMS (Dropbox).
β’ Work closely with the department manager to evolve and refine photography/retouch workflows.
Quality & Feedback
β’ Interpret feedback constructively and implement changes quickly and effectively.
β’ Assist with quality control of image standards and execution of amends.
β’ Collaborate with Retouch Manager to drive improved workflow efficiency
Collaboration
β’ Partner daily with Graphics, E-commerce, Social, and Product teams.
β’ Communicate confidently regarding colour accuracy and garment updates.
β’ Contribute to a collaborative environment, offering and receiving feedback professionally.
β’ Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
β’ Adopt new workflows and retouching techniques proactively.
β’ Ensure clear cross-department communication on updates and colour standards.
β’ Apply creative interpretation in line with briefs and the Club L brand aesthetic.
About You
β’ Demonstrable experience as a Senior Retoucher, ideally in luxury fashion or e-commerce.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and a consistent, methodical approach.
β’ Strong organisational skills and responsibility for maintaining content systems.
β’ Comfortable working to tight deadlines while maintaining a high-quality output.
β’ A strong portfolio showcasing fashion retouching.
β’ Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop.
β’ Familiarity with Capture One, Lightroom, Bridge, and digital asset management tools (advantageous but not essential) β Training can be provided if required.
β’ Confident use of a Wacom tablet preferred.
