Role description
SEO wizards are rare. Like unicorns. Or people who actually enjoy pineapple on pizza. That’s why when we say we’re after a Senior SEO Executive, we’re not just filling a chair. We’re on the hunt for someone who lives, breathes, and dreams search, and wants to do it in an agency that’s genuinely different.
Forget ticking “years of experience” boxes. If you know your stuff and are a bit obsessed with SEO, do read on. They’ve figured out the balance that most agencies are still chasing. Employees have a big shout about how it’s run, so you’re not just a number, you’re literally part of the future here.
Why here?
This isn’t just another agency gig. Manchester born-and-bred, but global in their outlook. They’ve embraced hybrid working like pros, it’s not just policy, it’s culture. Flexibility and balance are real here, and one of the biggest reasons people join and, more importantly, stay.
And when we say culture, we mean it:
• Extended Christmas shutdown (because nobody wants to be squinting at Screaming Frog on Boxing Day).
• Proper healthcare, enhanced mat/pat leave, referral bonuses and more holidays than most of your mates.
The Role
You’ll be the in-house search sensei; auditing, strategising, and optimising until rankings sing. From technical SEO audits (Screaming Frog at the ready), to killer outreach campaigns, to link strategies that actually stick, you’ll be the one making clients shine on search.
Your fingerprints will be all over:
• Technical SEO audits, backlink analysis, link building & page speed reporting.
• Shaping strategies that deliver ROI (and brag-worthy results).
• Collaborating with brilliant creatives, digital pros and developers who love solving puzzles as much as you.
• Guiding junior talent and even wrangling freelancers if needed.
• Putting SEO at the heart of campaigns that hit both B2B and B2C audiences.
What You Bring
• Whether you’ve got 2 years’ experience, 5 years, or you’ve been optimising sites since dial-up — if you’ve got the skills and know-how, we want to hear from you.
• Experience using Gemini and ChatGPT to integrate AI into everyday SEO processes
• Experience using SEMRush for keyword analysis and site monitoring
• Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, and Page Speed Insights for SEO analysis
• Experience managing content, SEO plugins, and performing basic troubleshooting on various CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento)
• Experience with project management processes and tools (e.g., Monday, Trello, Jira, gantt charts)
• Use of Campaign Monitor for sending out internal and external email communications about SEO and other digital services
• The ability to spot opportunities others miss, whether it’s a keyword gap or a backlink goldmine.
• A love of data, results, and impact.
• Zero ego. They're an ego-free zone.
What’s On Offer
• Salary between £40-£45,000.
• Hybrid working that actually works.
• 25 days holiday + public holidays + extra Christmas shut down.
• Healthcare, enhanced parental leave, free parking, and a fruit delivery that offsets the beer pong.
• The chance to work with iconic brands and see your work move the needle.
• A voice in shaping not just SEO, but the agency’s future (remember, employee-owned).
• Oh, and fruit deliveries… to cancel out the cake.
