Role description
As a Senior Site Merchant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a best-in-class digital shopping experience that blends compelling storytelling with strategic execution. Reporting to the Director of Site Merchandising, you’ll be responsible for executing and optimizing the site experience across key digital real estate—including the homepage, category (PLP) pages, landing pages, and promotional content. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seasonal priorities, product strategies, and customer insights come to life in an inspiring, conversion-driven site experience. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical and creative instincts, thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and is passionate about delivering results through customer-first merchandising. Key Responsibilities • Execute the site merchandising strategy across homepage, PLPs, landing pages, and key content modules—ensuring alignment with brand, business, and seasonal objectives. • Collaborate with Product Merchandising and Brand Creative teams to translate product and brand priorities into high-impact, shoppable moments. • Leverage analytics and tools (e.g., Constructor, Adobe Analytics, or similar) to inform content planning, sequencing, and testing strategies. • Partner with the Director of Site Merchandising and Site Strategy team to evolve digital journeys, navigation, and content frameworks based on performance data and customer behavior. • Monitor site performance daily—reacting to real-time signals including conversion, sales and traffic trends, inventory shifts, and customer engagement. • Support and contribute to A/B testing and CRO initiatives to optimize customer pathing and drive business growth. • Lead seasonal and in-season content planning processes for assigned categories, collaborating cross-functionally to align on priorities and timing. • Provide thoughtful, data-informed recaps of campaign and site performance to inform future planning and strategy. • Manage and mentor junior team members or contractors as needed, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and collaboration. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Site Merchandising, Digital Experience, or Ecommerce, preferably in the retail or fashion space. • Strong understanding of site analytics, customer behavior metrics, and ecommerce KPIs (e.g., conversion, bounce rate, time on page). • Experience working with personalization, optimization, or site merchandising tools (Constructor, Dynamic Yield, Salesforce, or similar). • Proven ability to balance brand storytelling with commercial performance in a digital setting. • Demonstrated success in collaborating cross-functionally across Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and Analytics teams. • Excellent attention to detail, project management skills, and a strong sense of ownership. • Experience in A/B testing, segmentation, and CRO strategies is a strong plus. • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and present to stakeholders.
