Are you a seasoned Full Stack Developer ready to lead from the front? Do you thrive on delivering high-quality code, mentoring others, and driving technical excellence? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing team at a pivotal moment in our journey.
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to take ownership of our ecommerce platform and bespoke internal tools, built on a cutting-edge L.I.T.T.R stack (Laravel, Inertia, Tailwind, TypeScript, React) and deployed in a serverless AWS environment. This is your chance to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing company with ambitious plans for the future.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will:
• Write, review, and optimize full-stack code for our ecommerce website and internal systems.
• Ensure all code is robust, scalable, and well-tested (both automated and manual).
• Own complex areas of the platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Conduct structured code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design systems that enhance operational efficiency.
• Support database and infrastructure design, including performance tuning.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience with Laravel and React.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and fast-paced development environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and serverless architecture.
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers and provide constructive feedback.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team and offshore collaboration.
Nice to Have:
• Ecommerce experience (e.g., Magento, Shopify) or integrations with payment providers, WMS, PIMs, etc.
• Familiarity with Storybook, reusable component libraries, and WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidelines.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) and load testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter).
Day-to-Day
• Lead the technical delivery of our ecommerce platform and internal systems.
• Collaborate with local and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Balance hands-on coding with mentoring and guiding the development team.
• Innovate and implement best practices to drive technical excellence.
• Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
Benefits
We believe in rewarding talent and hard work. Here’s what we offer:
• Competitive salary package based on experience.
• Structured progression plan to support your career growth.
• Generous annual leave, plus bank holidays.
• Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
• Company pension scheme.
• Additional leave and bereavement leave.
• Casual dress code and a friendly, collaborative work environment.
• Free on-site parking and a cycle-to-work scheme.
• Employee discounts and a health & wellbeing programme.
• Regular company events and a supportive team culture.
Why Join Us?
• Be at the forefront of technical innovation in a rapidly growing company.
• Lead and mentor a passionate team that values quality and collaboration.
• Work on exciting projects that directly impact the business’s success.
• Enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions truly matter.
