Job Description
The Sr. Strategic Account Manager - eCommerce plays a pivotal role in driving digital sales growth, profitability, and market share across a diverse portfolio of product categories within the Business-to-Consumer (Retail) channel. This position will lead strategic growth initiatives across our larger, established online partners. This role will drive long-term category expansion, new product launches, and strategic planning initiatives while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external account contacts, ensuring alignment of business objectives and executional excellence.
This role demands a dynamic, results-driven professional with a strong grasp of eCommerce strategy, digital merchandising, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and bring a proactive, data-informed approach to identifying opportunities and delivering measurable results.
In addition to sharing some operational responsibility, this role will focus heavily on growing category share, optimizing media and promotional strategy, and guiding investment budgets that align with broader business objectives.

• Drive execution of retention strategies, category expansion, and account conversion plans while spearheading innovative initiatives to unlock new revenue streams.
• Work cross-functionally with supply chain, digital marketing, and analytics to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Build and manage promotional calendars, retail media strategy, and advertising budgets to maximize ROI and conversion.
• Serve as the account thought leader internally; deliver insight on trends, algorithm shifts, and competitive dynamics.
• Collaborate with the Strategic Account Manager to ensure execution of pricing updates, listing optimization, and operational needs.
• Own business reviews with Amazon and internal stakeholders; provide data-backed insights and actionable recommendations.
• Analyze category-level performance to identify whitespace opportunities and high-velocity listings.
• Optimize launch strategy while maximizing legacy listing performance using full dataset available.
• Deliver actionable insights and strategic updates to senior leadership on market dynamics, customer performance, and competitive intelligence.
• Leverage retargeting and personalization strategies to boost engagement with partners.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of sales, account management and/or management experience working with Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart or other large eTailers
• Experience working with direct eCommerce accounts such as Amazon and/or Wayfair.
• Expertise working with Amazon Vendor Central.
• Proven analytical and interpersonal skills, with a history of driving successful outcomes.
• Demonstrated success in delivering results in dynamic and competitive markets.
• Progressive career trajectory with measurable success in achieving goals.
• Strong track record of driving results and instilling accountability within teams.
• Experience managing budgets and optimizing resources to maximize sales and ROI.
