As a Senior UX Engineer, you'll help define how millions interact with these systems. You won't be just designing screens — you'll be designing systems that teach other systems how to behave. Why This Role Exists Our platform sits at the frontier of two major shifts: 1. The collapse of screen-based UIs into conversational, AI-augmented experiences 1. The re-centralization of consumer trust around verified, human-aligned knowledge We're looking for someone who can operate at the intersection of: • System design: Building interaction models that scale and self-improve • Emotional resonance: Creating interfaces that inspire confidence, joy, and agency • Strategic leverage: Designing primitives and frameworks others build upon You'll work directly with our founder to define the DNA of AI-native commerce. What You'll Do • Architect and implement a shared design system for SimplyCodes, from foundational tokens to reusable components • Build the most technically challenging and novel UI for our AI products, including the Intelligent Checkout Assistant (ICA) and the SimplyCodes Assistant (SCA) • Act as a catalyst and educator, upskilling designers in technical constraints and mentoring engineers in design principles and accessibility • Develop and implement a modern UI architecture that is performant, accessible, and scalable across web, mobile, and browser extensions • Drive the adoption of AI-accelerated workflows and tools to improve the velocity of design and front-end development • Prototype high-fidelity interactions and conversational interfaces to validate new product ideas with users and stakeholders • Contribute directly to product strategy as a system thinker — not a decorator, not a ticket-taker What We're Looking For Required • 5–8 years of experience building and shipping high-impact products, with a focus on user experience engineering and front-end development • A designer who thinks like a system architect, not just a stylist • Deep expertise in building and scaling design systems and reusable UI component libraries • Strong visual sensibility and deep craft skills • Comfort operating in a high-autonomy environment with minimal layers • A first-principles thinker who questions defaults and invents new patterns • Passion for AI, commerce, and how humans form trust in digital systems Bonus Points • Experience with conversational UI, agent design, or AI/LLM-powered interfaces • E-commerce, marketplaces, or fintech experience • Front-end prototyping or implementation skills Compensation & Partnership Our compensation model is built on a simple premise: we want to attract and reward long-term partners who will build the future with us. Base Salary $175,000 – $250,000 Profit-Sharing & Equity After 90 days, you will join our Partners Program.
