Role description
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and will be responsible for delivering a differentiated product that addresses a business need and represents a viable business opportunity. You will work alongside our team of world class product managers, engineers, data scientists, marketers, UI/UX designers, and storefront team to own our new (soon to launch) mobile app. Responsibilities include defining and executing the customerβs post-order, self-service, and customer service product experience; developing and actively maintaining product roadmap to improve product in ways that have the biggest impact on company KPIs; working cross-functionally with business, UI/UX, data science, engineering, and other product leaders to prioritize development work and achieve roadmaps across different functional areas; developing innovative ways to use AI to improve both the customerβs experience and the CS teamβs experience; being the scrum master and product owner (define stories and detailed specifications) in engineering sprints; managing risks in execution and scrappily unblocking team to reach goals; defining and monitoring KPIs, making quick adjustments to ensure strong performance. Requirements include overall 6+ years of experience with at least 3 years in product management role for ecommerce, marketplace, or other transactional products; track record of growth in prior roles; proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority; demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products; strong analytical skills in leveraging data to drive product decisions and improve metrics; deep user empathy and understanding of user experience requirements; excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of tackling ambiguous problems; proficiency in SQL to independently analyze data, uncover customer insights, and monitor key performance metrics; experience working in a high growth consumer business, whether eCommerce or other industries; experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
