Job Overview
Weβre looking for an enthusiastic and driven SEO Manager to join our team of SEO specialists. Our ideal candidate would be a proactive problem solver who is comfortable thinking on their feet and taking ownership of projects from day one. The role is fast paced and offers a blend of creativity and analytical skills across different areas, so no day is the same.
The role is client facing and would suit someone who is great at building relationships and rapport, and comfortable communicating and presenting.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Taking ownership of non-UK SEO & ASO market retainers (Nordics, Hungary and South Africa), ensuring work is being delivered on time and driving results
β’ Pivoting strategy as needed depending on results, client and business priorities
β’ Analysing performance using tools such as the Google Suite, SEMrush and seoClarity.
β’ Overseeing content projects including updates and localisation, using AI to streamline processes
β’ Overseeing technical SEO audits produced by junior members of the team
β’ Developing written reports and PowerPoint presentations to showcase our work, with a focus on storytelling and making results tangible to clients
β’ Acting as a daily point of contact for clients, updating them on project progress and leading weekly, fortnightly or monthly meetings. Building relationships and becoming their go-to person
β’ Creating yearly SEO & ASO strategies with support from the Account Director and Business Lead
β’ Mentoring junior team members, taking responsibility for training and upskilling
β’ Managing at least one team member, directing their progression, working with them to set goals and tracking their progress
β’ Staying up to date on the latest SEO industry updates, sharing with clients/the agency, and pushing junior team members to do the same
β’ Proactively identifying ways to improve team processes, both internally and externally
Your Skills & Experience
β’ 2.5+ years of hands-on content and technical SEO experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house setting
β’ Experience working across non-English markets, including keyword research and content work in a language you donβt speak
β’ Project management experience - ability to drive projects, keep them on track, stay organised and adapt in response to challenges faced
β’ Experience in building SEO strategies (with senior support), plus strong knowledge of how to pivot a strategy if required based on results
β’ Excellent client relationship management skills
β’ Ability to tell a story through visually-appealing reporting and decks
β’ Experience with people management/mentorship, including briefing work and giving feedback
β’ Experience with eCommerce or electronics clients is a bonus
