Role description
Vuori is re-defining what athletic apparel looks like: built to move and sweat in but designed with a casual aesthetic to transition into everyday life. We draw inspiration from an active coastal California lifestyle; an integration of fitness, creative expression and life. Our high energy fast paced retail environment is reflected in the clothes we make. We aim to inspire others to take on all aspects of their lives with clarity, enthusiasm and purpose…while having a lot of fun along the way. We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.
Job Description
Vuori is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our E-Commerce team to support in accelerating Vuori’s organic visibility and traffic on a global scale through an ongoing and ever evolving SEO and GEO/AEO strategy focused on best practices, content technical enhancements, affiliate optimization, and AI-era discoverability and visibility. This role will complement our existing SEO Specialist.
What you’ll get to do:
• Assist in developing and executing SEO strategies across multiple international domains (ccTLDs, subfolders, subdomains) for our ecommerce apparel sites.
• Conduct keyword research for apparel categories, seasonal trends, and localized search terms across markets.
• Optimize product detail pages (PDPs), category pages (PLPs), and landing pages for search visibility and conversion.
• Support technical SEO efforts including hreflang implementation, structured data (schema for products, reviews, availability, pricing), crawl optimization, and overall site health and performance.
• Monitor international domain performance and rankings; track competitor activity in apparel markets worldwide.
• Execute local SEO strategies including local keyword targeting and Google Business Profile optimizations.
• Collaborate with merchandising, content, and UX teams to ensure SEO and GEO/AEO best practices are applied to new product launches, lookbooks, and editorial content.
• Create and optimize content that is highly consumable and favored by LLMs and GenAI systems.
• Build and maintain SEO reports by market (organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, revenue impact).
• Proactively keep track of SEO, GEO/AEO, and ecommerce trends - especially for fashion, seasonal shopping, and mobile-first experiences.
Qualifications
Who you are:
• 3+ years of experience as SEO specialist or a similar role at a large company or agency
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
• Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Exposure to AI visibility tools and GEO best practices.
• Preferred 1+ years working in GEO/AEO space.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and ecommerce reporting.
• Understanding of international SEO best practices (hreflang tags, geo-targeting, ccTLDs vs. subfolders, language targeting).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with ecommerce platforms.
• Ongoing knowledge of CMS platforms like Shopify.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and recommend optimizations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with site merchandising and product taxonomy.
