Role description
The Site Merchandising Manager’s goal is to drive online revenue and improve customer experience by presenting the right products in the right place, at the right time, with the right messaging. They will be responsible for planning, organizing, and optimizing how products are presented on solostove.com to maximize sales, conversion, and customer engagement. In addition, they will strategically arrange and showcase Solo Stove’s website catalog, driving key e-commerce KPIs of conversion, engagement, and bounce rate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Management & Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations and changes of solostove.com. Ensure that all site content, product data, and marketing campaigns come to life on site and coordinate with internal DTC team and IT team to address any changes or bugs.
1. Product Presentation & Organization – Curate and maintain category pages, product detail pages, and search results to ensure accurate, compelling, and conversion-focused content.
1. Promotions & Campaign Execution – Coordinate seasonal launches, sales events, and featured product placements in alignment with marketing and inventory plans and work cross functionally to ideate, plan and execute on all promotional campaigns.
1. User Experience Optimization – Ensure navigation, filters, and site taxonomy help customers find products quickly and easily. Track on site conversion across various pages and optimize based on customer behavior.
1. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with marketing, creative, product, and operations teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and seamless execution across the customer journey. Support planning team, ensuring the right types and quantities of products are stocked on the site
1. Data-Driven Merchandising – Use analytics to identify trends, improve product rankings, and make recommendations for assortment, pricing, and presentation.
1. Vendor Management - work with third party vendors to ensure they deliver on new innovation and services to level up customer experience at Solo.
1. Customer Care: Bridge relationship with Customer Care to own and optimize post purchase experience and KPIs and Support planning team, ensuring the right types and quantities of products are stocked on the site
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Working knowledge of Site Merchandising tools (Sales Force Commerce Cloud strongly preferred) and CMS tools (Contentstack strongly preferred) as well as other tools.
• Working knowledge of ecommerce systems, preferably Salesforce
• Some understanding of Heat Map Tools and journey analysis a plus
• Experience working in a collaborative, fast paced, professional environment
• Strong capacity for multi-tasking, organization, working independently and time management
• Candidates should have a high attention to detail, be able to maintain accuracy doing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Analytic focus, with an ability to turn merchandising data into actionable insights
• Experience working with third party vendors
• Must be comfortable working with technical systems and troubleshooting web issues
