Sleepyhead is a high-growth e-commerce brand disrupting the college sleep market with premium mattress toppers. Our marketing team is collaborative, creative, and results-driven. We’re seeking a motivated and versatile Social Media & Content Coordinator to join us in building our brand presence across platforms.
Position Overview:
The Social Media & Content Coordinator will play an important role in creating and managing engaging content across our social channels, website, email campaigns, and paid advertising. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on marketing experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Film, edit, and produce video content for social channels, evergreen ads, and Google Ads campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
• Capture photography and video at events for use across marketing channels.
• Create branded graphics and designs for social media, website updates, and email campaigns (using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, CapCut and other tools as needed).
• Support the design of email campaigns and promotional content.
• Collaborate with the influencer and affiliate team to develop and repurpose content for campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to recommend new ideas.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong skills in video editing and content creation (social-first mindset).
• Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work in-office Monday–Friday at our Old Town Scottsdale office.
