Role description
In this role you will concept and produce social assets (primarily video) in partnership with the founder and creative team. You must have a proven track record of taking video projects from creative concept to final delivery for successful social media channels, on both Instagram and TikTok. Experience in and passion for beauty is a must! Responsibilities will include: β€’ Collaborate closely with founder and brand creative team to drive ideation and execution of paid and organic social assets, with a focus on video β€’ Create digital content concepts, develop and execute through production based on marketing/business objectives, always with a lens to brand and product storytelling that engages, educates, and entertains the consumer β€’ Ensure brand consistency and cohesion throughout all execution β€’ Direct and produce in-house content across photography and video to support social initiatives, including identification and management of internal, freelance, and UGC content creators β€’ Direct social-first video content on campaign shoots; edit final assets β€’ Manage creative workflows with cross-functional teams for optimal efficiency and effectiveness Who You Are β€’ Ability to lead, manage, and communicate cross-functionally throughout the entire creative lifecycle; communicative and collaborative team player β€’ Passion for being ahead of the curve and bringing fresh ideas that drive customer engagement in digital/social channels β€’ Obsessed with trends in beauty and social, with the ability to turn them quickly into brand-right, high-performance digital creative β€’ Ability to balance business goals with creative vision β€’ Able to manage workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with lean resources; has a strong network of freelance support to tap into as needed β€’ Agile self-starter with excellent time and project management skills Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Design, Fine Arts, or similar field) β€’ Hands-on experience in video art direction on set and within the beauty space β€’ Experienced in UGC production and best practices β€’ Strong knowledge of digital/social best practices, technical constraints, and channel formats β€’ Strong video editing capabilities required β€’ Well-versed in Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) β€’ Expertise in creating high-performing video content for e-commerce, organic, and paid social. Strong Instagram Reels and TikTok experience required; YouTube and CTV a plus
