Role description
The purpose of the Marketing Content & Social Media Executive is to support the Digital Marketing & Ecommerce team to execute customer comms in line with agreed trading calendar and to facilitate in store & social customer experience in-line with the strategic pillars. Brand consistency must be adhered to, ensuring all content is considered together as part of the wider mix and across customer touch-points, contributing to an effective customer journey to support footfall, traffic, sales and conversion.
Key accountabilities include:
Social Media:
· Briefing of social content for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn
· Developing and lead engaging, creative & innovative social content (Meta, Tik Tok & LinkedIn)
· Plan, shoot, edit, and post Reels, Stories, TikToks, and behind-the-scenes moments
· Manage content creator & influencer sampling to drive sales
· Support in managing TikTok Shop, including product uploads using Shopify & campaign management
· Execute TikTok & Meta paid ads & boosting to deliver reach, engagement and sales to ROI
· Spot and act on trends – and create content that’s fresh, fun, and unique to drive engagement & sales
· Manage day-to-day handling of social media channels, adapting content by channel & audience
· Coordinate store social media posts with other departments & regional managers
· Report on brand & store social media performance using Sprout Social & Facebook insights
· Report on TikTok performance using TikTok seller center
· Educate key stakeholders on social best practice, platforms & promote its use within the business
· Analyse competitor activity & refine strategies to drive growth and turn followers into customers
Email & CRM:
· Execute & deployment of customer email campaigns (includes builds & proofing) using Klaviyo
· Implementing CRM lifecycle campaigns drive retention, loyalty & increase sales
· Drive email sign-ups to maintain healthy contact database & strategy
· Execute A/B testing to improve performance metrics including online sales
Copywriting:
· Write copy for owned channels including emails and social media
· Write copy for website content including products, banners and categories
· Maintain blog including writing posts, in line with campaign launches, seasonal trends and searches
Required Skills
Essential
· Social experience across TikTok, Facebook & Instagram
· Experience of TikTok Shop, TikTok & Meta platforms
· Experience using video editing tools
· Previous content management experience
· Previous copy writing experience
· Attention to detail & accuracy
· Good knowledge & experience of Microsoft Office
· Ability to self-manage & work as part of a team
· Work efficiently to meet deadlines
