This is an exciting opportunity for a University or College student to work closely with the 2 co-founders of a growing e-commerce jewellery brand, while sharpening their content and social media skills! About Us & The Brand: Hiya, I'm Rebecca, founder of Calm Collective®. I'm someone who has to be constantly fidgeting with something. I really struggle to sit still, especially in situations that make me feel overwhelmed and anxious. When I was working my 9-5, I came across fidget jewellery; however, I wasn’t happy with the designs as they all looked childlike and cheap. So I decided to create higher-quality fidget rings to help me and others in a similar situation. I wanted to create them so they looked cute and would last a long time, because jewellery is what you wear to elevate your outfits, and I still wanted our jewellery to do this. I also wanted to make Calm Collective a brand that has a powerful impact. Most importantly, helping others going through similar experiences by giving back to various charities supporting anxiety across the UK 💖 The Role: We’ve seen huge growth over the last year (our Instagram has around 4 million views per month), and we’re ready to take the brand to the next level by refining our storytelling and organic content strategy. This is where you’d come in! As our Social Media Manager & Content Creator Intern, you’ll be helping shape our brand's voice and spread our story through exceptional content across our Instagram account. This is a paid position, for 8 hours per week (which can be spread flexibly), and Your Responsibilities: • Content Creation, including video content for reels, reel thumbnails, feed posts, carousels, and stories that befit the Calm Collective brand. • Social Media Management: this will involve planning and maintaining content calendars for reels, static posts, stories, captioning, keeping up to date on trends, monitoring engagement and campaign performance. • Sourcing and reaching out to micro influencers & UGC creators to source content. About You: • A passion for content creation. • Strong English copywriting and editorial skills. • Comfortable with Canva (Photoshop is a bonus). • Preferably be located or able to commute to London for in-person events & shoots. • UK‑based and legally eligible for a paid internship.
