About the Role You’re a scroll-stopper. A storyteller. A visual thinker who knows how to grab attention and build a brand. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to shape how Edward Martin shows up online—through content, connection, and creativity. You’ll own our day-to-day presence across key platforms, turning product launches, design stories, and visual assets into engaging moments. This role blends creative strategy, hands-on execution, community building, and performance analysis. It’s ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, content, and culture. What You Will Do • Own the day-to-day management of Instagram and Facebook (with potential expansion to TikTok, Pinterest, and beyond). • Plan and schedule content that supports new product launches, brand storytelling, and seasonal campaigns. • Use content pillars, platform trends, and brand guidelines to develop engaging posts that drive interaction. • Partner with creative, merchandising, and 3D teams to bring visual content to life in social-first formats. • Jump into DMs and comments to engage our community, build relationships, and respond to opportunities in real time. • Test and evolve what works across platforms, using insights to inform future creative. • Manage an editorial calendar and coordinate cross-functional inputs (creative, copy, product, campaign). • Track key performance metrics (follower growth, engagement, reach, CTR) and report on wins, trends, and opportunities. • Help define and evolve our social voice and visual identity across channels. Required Experience & Skills • 4–6+ years of experience managing social media for a lifestyle, design, or consumer brand. • Strong portfolio of successful campaigns or accounts with visual excellence and voice consistency. • Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms—including best practices, formats, and native tools. • Proficiency in content planning tools (e.g., Later, Planoly, Sprout, or similar). • Exceptional copywriting and visual storytelling instincts. • Ability to brief and collaborate with designers, editors, and content creators. • Comfort with analytics and using data to guide content decisions. • Strong project management and organizational skills. • Must be based in California. Bonus if you • Have experience working in interior design, home décor, lifestyle, or luxury consumer brands. • Can create or edit simple content (Reels, TikToks, IG Stories) using Canva or native apps, producing quick, polished visuals that align with brand standards. • Are familiar with cross-functional workflows and platforms like Asana, Figma, or Notion. • Have worked alongside paid media teams to align organic and paid content strategies.
