Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Social Media Manager, Americas, to lead and execute our social media strategy across organic and paid channels for the Carestream Dental and Swissmeda brands. This role is two pronged—managing social media accounts for the Americas region (United States, Canada, and Latin America), as well as overseeing our Global social media presence. In this role you will: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow brand presence and engage audiences; curate and create content for marketing programs, working closely with SMEs; plan, schedule and optimize organic and paid posts; monitor Carestream Dental’s online customer community; and report on performance to inform and improve strategy.
Reporting directly into the Director of Marketing, Americas, (this reporting relationship follows a “key region” approach, as most of the current workloads falls within the Americas region vs. Global) this role combines creative planning, analytical skills and tactical execution to drive brand awareness, leads and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute Carestream Dental and Swissmeda brand social media strategy for Global and Americas, balancing both organic and paid content: eta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube and others
• Organic Social Media and Content Development
• Create, schedule and publish engaging organic posts optimized for each platform
• Develop and execute monthly content calendars, per regional audiences, platforms and competitive landscape—ensuring content aligns with brand voice, regional nuances and business objectives
• Proactively drive content ideation, partnering with cross-functional teams, to ensure a steady pipeline of compelling social content
• Monitor social media daily, engage with customers/prospects and foster an active community
• Paid Media Strategy and Execution
• Strategize, plan and manage paid social media ads, including setting budgets, targeting, timing and spend optimization for each region.
• Optimize campaigns using A/B testing, audience segmentation, retargeting and performance analytics.
• Stay on top of social media trends, algorithm updates, best practices and competitive activity to uncover insights and keep our strategy sharp and effective
• Collaborate with in-house graphic designer to develop social visuals and manage external agencies, as needed, to support content production
• KPI tracking and reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track platform and campaign performance, providing insights for continuous improvement
• Other Marketing Projects: Support other marketing projects as needed and as time permits
Required Skills And Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a strong focus on managing organic and paid social media campaigns, ideally across multiple regions
• Experience in dental or medical device sector or strong B2B background highly preferred
• Prior experience within a global organization preferred along with an understanding of cultural and platform nuances within markets, particularly within the U.S., Canada and Latin America
• Experience planning and managing high-performing paid social campaigns (including audience targeting, budgeting, A/B testing and optimization)
• Proficiency in social media management, analytics, and competitive tracking tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Meta Ads Manager, Rival IQ, Google Analytics)
• Experience with lead generation and/or eCommerce campaigns on social platforms.
• Strong communication, copywriting and editorial skills with the ability to craft engaging social content
• Highly organized, proactive and collaborative with strong project management skills to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) a plus
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, PPC, and integration of social media with broader digital and email marketing strategies a plus
