Compensation The compensation target range for this role is: $142,000 - $167,000 Job Summary Purple is looking for a qualified Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and driving the execution of the various needs for our eCommerce website. As a Senior Agile Delivery Manager, you will oversee, manage, and deliver work within quality, time, and budget. Having an understanding of marketing is preferred. You need to be an organized professional that consistently provides proactive communication to the various stakeholders you work with. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. You should also be able to use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams, including creative, brand strategy, digital acquisition, insights, merchandising, eCommerce and other cross functional organizations and stakeholders. Job Description Skills/Knowledge Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 7-10 year(s) of delivery management experience working in an agile development environment • Proficient with Jira and Confluence preferred • Excellent follow-up skills to push work forward • Comfortable with ambiguity and managing shifting priorities • Analytical, problem solver, independent, self-starter, high attention to detail, keen sense of urgency • Highly organized; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with all levels of management and interacting with cross-functional teams • Experience planning, leading, organizing and motivating Agile project teams is preferred • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) • Previous software engineering or quality assurance experience is a plus Responsibilities • Primary focus is on driving the tactical day-to-day product delivery process, including removing impediments that kill productivity or block the team's progress • Work closely with product delivery team(s) to ensure agreed upon backlog items are prioritized, developed, and released • Work closely with other delivery managers, engineering, and product leads to identify and manage cross-team dependencies • Communicate on behalf of the product and/or engineering team when required • Develop and monitor metrics to determine the success criteria for the delivery team • Provide execution and delivery leadership to the product teams to deliver high-quality products in committed timeframes • Promote continuous improvement and project culture of innovation • Facilitate retrospectives to uncover what’s working, what’s not, and how we can improve Benefits And Perks • Medical, Dental, Vision • 401(k) Match • Flexible PTO • Earn a Mattress • Purple Swag • Amazing Purple Products WHY WORK AT PURPLE? • Make your mark: We value innovative thinking.
