Role description
Job Summary As a Sr. Analyst, Marketing Analytics, you will support the Marketing Analytics & Testing team. The Sr. Analyst manages the daily work activities for the Marketing Analytics team. This individual will play a critical role in delivering actionable insights, optimizing marketing performance, and shaping data-driven decision-making across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing analyst with strong SQL skills, a deep understanding of marketing KPIs, and the ability to clearly communicate complex data to business stakeholders. Responsibilities: β€’ Analyze and interpret data from digital and traditional marketing campaigns to evaluate performance and uncover growth opportunities. (25%) β€’ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor campaign KPIs, customer segments, and channel effectiveness. (15%) β€’ Collaborate with marketing, product, and analytics stakeholders to define campaign measurement plans and ensure consistent tracking. (10%) β€’ Support A/B testing design, implementation, and analysis to optimize creative, targeting, and offer strategies. (15%) β€’ Build customer segmentation and predictive models to inform audience strategy and personalization. (10%) β€’ Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. (10%) β€’ Support marketing forecasting, budget allocation, and ROI analysis. (5%) Knowledge and skills: β€’ Ability and strong desire to think analytically, to be able to identify and solve problems through data analysis β€’ Strong understanding of marketing channels (email, paid media, direct mail, web) and related KPIs, report formatting, and accuracy is mandatory β€’ Successful organization skills and ability to execute effectively on assigned workload β€’ Confident, clear, effective communication - both internal teams and client-side β€’ Flexible, adaptable, and able to function effectively under pressure (continually maintains a professional demeanor) β€’ A team player who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-centric Technical Skills: β€’ Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation required β€’ Able to analyze large sets of raw data, draw conclusions and relationships and develop actionable recommendations β€’ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) β€’ Advanced Excel skills, including experience-using formulas, pivot tables etc. β€’ Advanced MS PowerPoint skills β€’ Familiarity with Google Analytics, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud), or CDPs (e.g., Simon Data, Hubspot) β€’ Experience in statistical software suites (R, Python, Databricks) – Nice to have Job experience: β€’ Five (5) years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably in a subscription-based, travel, or consumer services industry β€’ Three (3) years Digital Reporting experience using visualization reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or Domo β€’ Three (3) years of experience with A/B Testing & Personalization Testing experience, with tools such as Adobe Target/Google Optimize, Maxymiser, or Other, required. β€’ Three (3) years of eCommerce analytics experience, required. β€’ Three (3) years of experience in working with Clickstream data in Google BigQuery or other data warehouse solutions like AWS or Snowflake. Education: β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field required. The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
