Role description
Overview
The Sr. Digital Media Specialist supports the management (media and budget), execution and optimization of digital advertising campaigns to support and promote BISSELL Homecare Inc (US), BISSELL Canada Corp. (BCC) and Sanitaire. The Sr. Digital Media Specialist is responsible for digital advertising campaign support that will drive ecommerce business for BISSELLβs DTC sites as well as owning B2B marketing support for Sanitaire. The Sr. Digital Media Specialist will conduct activities that support and evangelize the teamβs strategies to reach/exceed revenue goals and KPIs, while maximizing ROAS.
Responsibilities
β’ Direct responsibilities include:

β’ Media Planning & Optimization.
β’ Accountable for review and approval on monthly and quarterly media plan
β’ Responsible for plan change communication to the appropriate internal stakeholders (forecasting, finance, etc.).
β’ Accountable for agency flowchart updates.
β’ Responsible for acquiring new campaign planning needs and their communication to agency i.e.: Product strategy, Budget, timing, etc.
β’ Coordinate with Sr. Performance Media Manager on brief.
β’ Lead the development, execution and reporting of creative learning agendas in collaboration with Sr. Creative Specialist.
β’ Lead media partner with analytics on test and learns.
β’ Own relationship with CRM team for all media 1P data/CDP needs.
β’ Supports audience development, refinement, and integration.
β’ Identifies and translates performance media creative needs in collaboration with brand partners/designers for creative execution for Sanitaire.
β’ Review and traffic final assets for delivery for Sanitaire.
β’ Budget management: Leads day-to-day budget management and maintenance.
β’ Works closely with cross-functional teams on invoice categorization.
β’ Keeps track of budget pacing to Purchase Orders and contract.
β’ Works with internal teams (AP, Legal, etc.) on necessary changes as budget shifts/incremental/metered funding are approved by leadership and/or product.
β’ Keeps track of account-level Direct Marketing billing and budget for financial monthly and quarterly internal review.
β’ Own tracking of global Agency Fee billing to the line of business and account-level budgets for monthly, quarterly review, and guidance to global accounting partners.
β’ Reporting: Works with Media Analytics to provide insights and recommendations for internal reporting needs:
β’ Monthly Integrated Marketing & Sanitaire scorecards
β’ Brand Initiative Review
β’ Quarterly Integrated Marketing Leadership review
β’ Quarterly royalties reporting
β’ Pricing and promotions: Media Specialist is the primary conduit between internal stakeholders and external agencies and partners on pricing and promotions
β’ Communicates planned pricing changes to external stakeholders for feed/advertising promotions updates.
β’ Reviews and approves promotion-specific copy (with subsequent review to internal team/Legal, where applicable)
β’ Works with internal team on optimizations to promotions for digital media
β’ May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Education
Degree minimum: Bachelorβs Degree
Specific concentration: Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
Experience level: 4-6 years of digital media, marketing and analytics experience. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years in a digital media investment/programmatic role.
β’ Attention to detail, along with strong written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
β’ Must possess the ability to handle a variety of projects at one time ensuring timely delivery of materials.
β’ Solid ability to collaborate with other departments/colleagues/agencies to further joint initiatives. Demonstrated strategic thinking, organizational and project management skills.
Skills Required
Proven track record of managing and executing performance media campaigns. Strong analytics experience with proficiency in excel, Google Analytics and experience in Google Data Studio, DOMO, Facebook. Snapchat, TikTok and Google Marketing Platform (SA360, DV360, etc.) a plus.
